Smart Home Elevator Tech
Explore our advanced MRL hydraulic cylinders, solar battery integrations, pitless layouts, and cloud IoT safety diagnostics.
No Pit Required Technology
Traditional elevators require digging a deep pit (often 1 to 1.5 meters) into the ground floor foundation to store buffer springs and hydraulic pistons. This can breach waterproofing, cut pipes, and damage the slab. Crown's No Pit technology mounts all cylinders and guide rails on the floor slab, requiring a shallow entry ramp of just 50mm–100mm, keeping your home's foundation intact.
- •Protects foundation: Zero floor cutting or deep excavation required.
- •Waterproofing safety: Avoids the risk of water seepage in low-lying coastal areas.
- •Fast assembly: Saves time and cost on site construction work.
- •Easy access: Sleek, low ramp allows smooth wheelchair entry.
No Headroom Design
Most traction lifts require a bulky overhead machine room or deep headroom space at the top floor to clear cables and motors. Crown’s hydraulic systems use side-mounted cylinders, meaning the lift cabin fits comfortably within standard ceiling heights (starting from 2700mm), eliminating the need for top-floor extensions.
- •Zero roof cuts: Keeps the roof slab intact.
- •Architectural clean lines: Keeps the house roof line clean and uniform.
- •Space saving: Eliminates overhead concrete machine rooms.
- •Fits standard ceilings: Fits standard top floor landing clearances.
Single Phase Operation
Commercial lifts require high-voltage three-phase power lines (415V), which are expensive to install and run. Crown Home Elevators are designed to operate on a standard single-phase 230V household utility outlet, drawing minimal current during travel and consuming zero power during descent.
- •Plug & play: Standard domestic power hookup.
- •Lower running costs: Uses less power than commercial traction lifts.
- •Zero descent power: Gravity is used to lower the hydraulic fluid during descent.
- •Domestic meter compatibility: No commercial electrical meter changes required.
Solar-Compatible Systems
Our home elevators are engineered with smart variable-frequency drives (VFD) and energy-efficient hydraulic pumps, making them solar-ready. The elevator can draw power from your existing rooftop solar battery bank, providing grid-independent mobility.
- •Sustainable energy: Runs on clean, renewable solar power.
- •Grid independent: Operates during solar-backed power grid outages.
- •Lower energy bills: Uses renewable solar energy.
- •Eco-friendly lifestyle: Reduces your household's carbon footprint.
IoT-Based Smart Diagnostics
Crown home elevators feature a cloud-connected smart controller. It uploads key metrics, including system pressure, motor temperature, door cycles, and error codes, to our servers, enabling our engineers to resolve issues before they affect travel.
- •Predictive warning alerts: Resolves minor issues before they cause downtime.
- •Remote diagnostics: Quick troubleshooting without waiting for an on-site visit.
- •Automated alerts: Instantly notifies our service hub of system faults.
- •Proactive updates: Allows remote firmware updates.
Automatic Rescue Device (ARD)
Safety is our priority. If power is lost, our lifts use an Automatic Rescue Device (ARD) powered by an auxiliary backup battery to bring you to the nearest floor and open the doors, preventing passengers from getting trapped.
- •Automatic recovery: Moves to the nearest floor during power cuts without manual help.
- •Battery backup: Keeps cabin fans, lighting, and intercom systems active.
- •Manual lowering valve: Mechanical backup valve allows manual lowering.
- •Total peace of mind: Eliminates anxiety during power grid failures.
